DAY 2: Arrival in Greece

It's now Tuesday evening and all pilgrims arrived safe and sound, albeit a little tired after almost 24 hours of travel.  Our hotel is about 40 minutes from the airport and on the way, our guide Yanni entertained and educated us with a quick history of Greece, some of their current challenges and how much of the English language is derived from the Greek language.  We had a quick dinner tonight in the hotel and then off to bed to catch up on some much-needed sleep.  Our day tomorrow starts with breakfast followed by Mass and then off to see some of the sites in Athens, including our first look at the Acropolis.  Can't wait for that.  Thanks to all of you for all the prayers for our safe journey.
